Your metabolism is as unique as a finger print. Some people metabolize food super-fast and other people while other people are a little bit slower. This metabolism of food is essentially your body taking what you have eaten, breaking it down and converting it in energy. There are some people who say it does not matter when you need the calories. So, they say that if you need 3000 calories everyday, it does not matter whether these are spread out in three meals or eight meals.
In my experience, I have found out better results when I actually spread out my calories throughout the day. Eating low-fat, high-protein healthy snacks during your day will prevent your from gaining weight, it will boost your metabolism, it will keep your body fueled and you will stay active and vibrant while you are at work or away from your home.
#2 Metabolism boosting tip – eat more frequent meals
If you are eating one meal and then you are going for 3-4 hours without eating another meal then your body is going to slow down the metabolism process to try and conserve calories. As a result, your body will nor process the calories as fast.
On the other hand, check out what happens when you give your body frequent and regular meals.
For example, you have you breakfast at 8:00 a.m and at 11:00 a.m you have your next meal, so instantly your body rejects the calories you ate at 8:00 a.m and it holds on to the new calories. Then, at 2:00 p.m, you hit your body with another meal, so your body is getting rid of the previous meal’s calories. That process is going on for the whole day and it is charging your metabolism. Your metabolism is speeding.

A pound of muscle uses 50 calories per day. Therefore, if you increase your lean muscle mass by 10 pounds, that is an additional 500 calories your body will require every day to keep things rolling.

The idea is by implementing these three tips, your body will turn into a calorie-burning machine.
